Marathon Investment Corporation is a full service real estate broker located in Atlanta, Georgia.While Marathon has real estate brokerage capability, its main interest is in acquiring real estate investments for its own account and Marathon offers an inventory of properties for the general real estate purchaser or investor. In most instances, our properties are offered with owner financing. Marathon’s specialty is in town locations, typically in popular and/or re-emerging neighborhoods. Marathon has a unique ability to spot real estate trends in areas of inter-city growth or re-development and attempts to tailor its investments to same.
The principals of Marathon have tremendous experience in dealing with distressed real estate. Specialties include properties with limited to severe title problems, properties distressed from a physical perspective, heavy tax delinquency or properties burdened with any multitude of issues that occur with real estate title. Marathon’s main emphasis is in Fulton County, Georgia, but has limited activity in DeKalb County and certain out of state areas where Marathon tailors its investments.
